Tho German Navy League invited tho German-American National Union to join tho League. Tho Union replied that Iho Lenguo ought to remember that the members of thu Union were citizens of the "United States, and that: "With all their lovo for their old home, and pride in Germanj's gieatness and power, they must decidedly object to the Lcaguo's invitation; and evory German-American should do likewise."
