LECTURE .ON CHARLES LAMB. A. most'interesting lecture was delivered by Mr.- William Gray, M.A., to tho Y.M.C.A. Literary and Debating Society last night. Iho lecturer took for his subject tlio lifo and work of Charles Lftmb, He touched on all points-in his lifo and character, his sacrifice of himself for his sister, his dislike of Scotchmen, and hi 3 frank speech which earned for him much, both of love and hatred.
