o In response te a request from the College Street Comrarttee, Palmeraton North, to introduce lessons in tho school curriculum, the Chief Inspector pointed oat that thedomestic ooonomy taught to > girls inc 1 13a(xl this subject, and it was decided to ask Air. Braik to frame a goneral scheme of temperance lessons for schools.' . It was decided to appoint Mr. Ritchie to tho chargo of the 1-eildmg Technical School in the interregnum before tie appointment of tho now director in succession to Mr. Fossoy, who goes to Napier.
