Sir,—Councillor Luke, at Thursday night's council meeting, stated that he advocated more liberal treatment of Kilbirnie and a little more economy with regard to estimated works at Northland and Wadestowri. Would Councillor Luke please explain what economy ho wishes to put in force at Northland and Wadestown to the advantage of his Kilbirnie electorate, we having had no por* tion of our rates allotted to us?—l am, etc., AN ELECTOR.Northland, June 11.
