N Holmes affirmed and Mr.--. G.. Clarke opposed, werlhirty members and visitors were present. Mr. X Brown occupied the ohair. After discussion, the meeting, by an overwhelming majority, declared in favour of the motion. Next week a lecture by Mr. W. Gray, of the Training CollegOi on Charles lamb, will be delivered.
