:Tho monthly/meeting' of tlie;St. John Ambulance Nursing .Guild" Committfce",' -held yesterday afternoon, was attended by- Mes'dames ;S./A..Rhodes (in the chair), W. H. S.'Moorhouso, J.: P. Lnke, W. B. 'Tripe/, H. W. l'reston, Miss , Higgio,: and Mrs. W. B. Fisher'., Nursing Report showed [that.. 1017 visits. had been paid., to .-the', sick poor by Nurses Sexton and Macaridr'ew, during. May, .and. that 23 additional 'patients had' .been, registered,- and 'ten ',' discharged.' Fivo,patients/were' attended at' ; tho - 01506 daily, and. two ..twice daily.' An utterly destitute "'patient, /was 1 .sent " to.' the-'.'/Ohiro Home, and an infant, seven weeks' old, whoso mothbr ,was sent .to the General Hospital, was.taken chargo .of by the Sisters at tho Home' of Compassion./ Gifts of clothing, etc., bad -been.' received . from.. Mesdamcs. Moorhouso,. Myers,. Luke,' Preston, Cooper, , Watson/ M'Kenzio, ■ Cor'ngan, Hel 1 - •yer, Church, M'Erwing, "A Friend," -Two ■Garment Society," and,..the Gear Company;. Tho following additional "subscriptions: 'were acknowledged: i Wellington Professional Orchestra, balance of Town Hall collection, £12 Ts.'./lOd;;' Mrs.' A v "Brandon," P? r Mrs. /W. EL S.
