The Auckland winter exhibition, which opens to-day, include (says a Press Association telegram) a largo dairy section, for which there are a total of 191 entries, 150 being in oxport classes.' In. tho grading T points competition for the Weddel Cup and gold medal, confined to Auckland;, tho Manawaru factory takes first award. In class 4, for two boxes of export factory, butter selected out of consignments prior to March 31, Matakana" factory came first. ■. • ; .. ~'■•'.'.... ,■ In tha open class for one box of butter suitable for export,, in which there were 24. entries, South Canterbury factory (94 points) was:first; Waipu (Auckland), second (934); Auckland Fresh Food and Ico Co. (93), third; Pihama, Opunake (92J), fourth. .In the class for one'box of export butter; open "only to factories outsido Auckland, Karigitikei and Cheltenham factories tied for first place with 93 points each; Bunnytkorpe (921), third; South Canterbury. (92), fourth. For factory cheese, best case of full-cream Cheddar-shaped cheese, suitable for export/ Tauugatara (Taranaki) was first with 94|. points j Omimi factory (Otago), second; Obouriao: (Auckland), third; Kaupokonui (Taranaki), fourth.' -In a similar class for white cheese, Opouraio, Auckland (94 points), was first; and Kaupokonui (93J), Becond; Omimi (93), third.
