At the monthly meeting of tie Grey town Distriot'High'/School Committee held last' Friday, evening the minutes' of the previous meeting were read and .confirmed. . The headmaster's and inspector's reports' were read, and 'were considered very, satisfactory. Accounts amounting, tb £i 6s. 2d.. were passed for payment. A vote of condolence was passed to Mr. T. Fisher. on account of the loss 'of his r wife. Mr. Chartors (headmaster) Was granted leave to-go to Wellington to ' receive his ILAi degree. The tender of the \?.F.C.A.. was accepted for the s apply, of. jerseys for football purposes. Messrs. B. Irwin and H. Humphries were appointed visitors for the. month. ■'.'.■' ...■•..-:'...■■■
