PRESENTATION TO THE PREMIER.
Sir,—As a loyalist and supporter of the Dreadnought policy, I am surprised at tho attitude of the Navy League in wanting • to make a presentation to tho Prime Minister for his naval genius. Now, sir, could anything bo so baso as to insinuate that so highminded a statesman as Sir Joseph. Ward wants any recognition more than- endorsement of his.action? Sir, I consider this ail outrage; and think tho proposal should bo dropped at once.—l am, etc., ■ D. A. PERKINS.' . May 17.-
