Thoro was another largo attendance, and thougli showers fell during tho afternoon thoy did not militate against the enjoymont of patrons. Largo fields and good sport were tho order I of the day, and the officials of the club wpro I congratulated on having established a record ' success for an autumn meeting. Tho sum of ' £10,007 passed through the totalisator, male- ' ing a total of £19,693 for the two days, as ■ compared with £18,005 last year, or an in- ' crease'of £1688.
