AGAINST SECOND-CLASS RAILWAY CARRIAGES. (nr TKr.iaiiArn—ntEss association—corißiont.) (Reo. April 21, 9.10 p.m.) Sydney, April 21. The Labour Congress resolved in favour of only one class of railway accommodation. Opi aions wore expressed by delegates that most of the accidents result from tho overcrowding of ' second-class carriages. All should be levelled up to the first-class standard.
