The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Eimutaka, which left London on March 18, for Wellington, via Cape Town and Hobart, left Capo Town last Sunday. • PAPANUI AT PLYMOUTH. Cabled advice received by the New Zealand Shippine Company reports that the Papanni arrived at Plymouth on Saturday. She left Wellington on February 12. THE BUTESHIRE. . It was expected that the New Zealand Shipping Company's chartered steamer Buteshire would leave Waitara for Wellington yesterday afternoon. After loading here she proceeds to Napier and Lyttelton. THE HINEMOA. _ The Hinemoa left Wellington yesterday morning, and worked Pencarrow lighthouse. 'To-mor-row she leaves on her southern trip, and will be absent from Wellington about a month. Her crew carried out lifeboat drill in the harbour yesterday. TYSER MOVEMENTS. After discharging hero the Niwaru, of the Tyser Company's fleet, due to-morrow; goes on the loading berth for London. In continuance of her discharging operations, the Whakarua, of the same line leaves Wellington tomorrow for Lyttelton. At noon to-day the Hawkos Bay leaves for Napier, and proceeds thence to Commonwealth ports to complete. THE AMOKURA. Bound for a cruise in Hanrnki Gulf, where practice will be held, the Government training .ship Amokura left Auckland vesterday morning The vessel returns to Auckland next Friday, and after, procuring supplies leaves for Wellington, working her way slowly down the coast. NOTICE TO MARINERS. This week's Gazette contains the following notice to mariners:—The Napier Harbour Board notify that masters of vessels coming to wharves within the Breakwater Harbour are warned to keep clear of buoys, pile-driving nimt.' etc., used by the contractor in connection with the work of enlarging the Glasgow Wharf. THE ARAHURA. Union Company's advices report that the Arahura arrived in Greymouth at 10 a.m. yesterday. She left again at 1 p.m. on the return journey, and was fixed to leave Wcstport. at, midniclit for Nelson, and the latter port at 2 p.m. to-day for Pictbr. and Wellington, being due here early to-morrow. KIA ORA'S PROGRAMME. To-morrow the Shaw-Savill liner Kia Ora is expected to leave Wellington for Lyttelton. where the balance of her cargo will be discharged. She commences Homeward loading at Lyttelton. and proceeds thence to Gisborne, Napier, and Wellington, sailing finally from this port on May 5. NEW PILOTAGE FOR PICTON. New pilotaee rates for the'port of Picton are set out in this week's Gazette. For steamers, Id. a, ton is to .be charged inward and }d. outward; sailing vessels, 2d. per ton inward, and Id. per ton outward. For removing vessels from one place to another within the harbour when a pilot is not taken: steamers, Id. per ton register; sailing vessels, Id. per ton register . CASUALTY RETURN FOR FEBRUARY.
