AUCKLAND RACING CLUB'S AUTUMN MEETING.

(DT TELEGEANJ—r-KESS ASSOCIATION) Auckland, April 13. • The concluding day's racing of tho Auckland, Racing Club's autumn meeting took place in glorious weather to-day at Ellerslie. Tho cohrso had improved very much overnight, and was in fair order, whilo tho attendance for an off clay was well above tho average. Tho following arc the results: — MAIDEN HURDLE RACE, of 110 soys. Ono mile and three-quarters.—-Mr. E. Hillary's AVellcast, .by Castor—Lady Wellington, 9st. 31b. (Pinker), 1; Mr. J. Molloy's Eblis, 9st. 41b. (Coleman), 2; Mr. S. Darragh's Hacremai, 9st.' 111b. (Brady), 3. Also started: Notoorini, lOst. 91b.; Melton Hall, 9st. 71b.; Carlylo, 9st. lllli.; and Pleiades, 9st. Won by half', a dozen lengths from Eblis, who was two lengths _in front of Haeremai, with Carlylo some distance away last. Time, 3min. 27sec. Notoorini, Melton Hall, and Pleiades foil. Speakman and Ackroyd, tho riders of Ploiades and Melton Hall, escaped without injury, but Howard, the rider of Notcorini, received a nasty shaking.

GORE BROWN HANDICAP, of 100 sovs. Six furlongs.—Mr. Arthur Morgan's All's Well, by Hotehkiss — Miss Annio, 7st. 71b. (Deoloy), 1; Mr. J. M'Nicol's Tattoo, Ost. 31b. (Ryan), and Messrs. Dawson and Waller's 'Miehaeloff, 7st. (H. Prico), a dead heat for second. Also started: Miss Advance, Bst. 101b.; Escamillo, Sst. Gib.; and Urania, 7st. Turning for homo, Miehaeloff, Tattoo, and All's Well were racing abreast, and a great raco to tho post was witnessed, tho trio flashing past locked together, the judgo's verdict going to All's Well by a head, with Tattoo and Michaeloff a dead heat for second honours. Miss Advance was fourth, and Urania last. Time, lmin. ISsec. ONSLOW STAKES, of 110 sovs. Five, furlongs.—Mr. R. Barlow's Het Volt, by Uhlan—Heriot, 7st. (H. Price), 1; Mr. H.. As tho field straightened up for tho run to tho post, Reservoir put in a determined challenge, but failed to quito get up, suffering dofeat by three-parts of a length.
