ETTERS TO THE EDITOR.
STATE NOTE ISSUE. Sir,—Mr. H. Bodloy has again followed tho old adage, viz., "When you liavo no case abuse tho other side." In my last letter I answered tho questions ho asked, and ho cannot disprove tho correctness of my reply. Ho appears afraid to allow your readers to judgo for themselves whether I am right, so ho misquotes or partially quotes my statements and calls them twaddle. I also asked him a reasonable and pertinent question re the-New Zealand Govcrjimont's guarantee of paper money in 1894, which saved tho country from greater disaster at that time, but ho docs not attempt to answer it. Abuso is not argument, and I will not waste time nor your valuable spaco in replying further, and appealing to reason whore it appears non-existent," or discussing with those who ovado the point. Thanking you for printing my letters,—l am, etc.,
HENRY JAS. TURNER. Wanganui, March 31. [This correspondence is now closed.]
