TO OPEN IN WELLINGTON DISTRICT on any i. ; In a supplement to the Gazette issued yestoruay it is uocined tuat tJie following imported game-viz., coeii plieasams, uuuunuanand Australian swamp quail, and hares—may be killed within the Wellington acclimatisation district, from Jiay 1 to Juiy 31 (.ootU days inclusive), and that licenses to kill such game will be issued to any person on the payment It is further notified that the following na- 1 tive game-viz., grey duck, teal, and native pigeon-may be killed within the above-men-tioued district/from Hay Ito July 31;' and that licenses to sell imported game and native game (excepting teal), from June 1, shall be issued on payment of the sum of .£2. The Chief. Postmaster at 'Wellington, and the postmasters at-Palraerston North, Sanson, Mangaweka, Taihape, Pahiatua, Eketahuna, Masterton, Carterton, Greytown, Martinborough, Featherston, Upper Hutt, lower Hutt, Petone, Foxton, Otaki, Bulls, Hunteryille, and Jlarton, are appointed to sign and issue licenses to kill and sell imported and native- game. Tho notices regarding the opening and closing of the gamo shooting seasons in all other aceli" matisation districts are also gazetted.
