FOUR-WEEKLY REPORT. In his four-weekly report to the Tramway Committee of tho City Council, Mr. Stuart Richardson, City Electrical Engineer, states that the revenue for the l'our-weclcly period amounted to £10,918, an increase of Ml as compared with the corresponding period of hist year. The working expenses amounted to .C 7265, or £590 more than last year. Comparing the returns for the whole yeato date,'the total revenue amounts to £125,919, or £12,215 more than the corresponding period of last vear. After providing for interest, sinking fund, and depreciation chargcs, amounting in all to £36.072, the net surplus to date is £5631, as compared with £4,834 for tho same period last year. .Lhe total number of passengers carried on city lines for the four weeks amounted to .1,//4,5 M, or 80,022 more than the corresponding period of last year.
