PROPOSED EXPERIMENT FARM.

FOR WAIRARAPA. ,A meeting of those interested in obtaining an oxperiinent farm for tho Wairarapa was held in tho Council Cliambers, Greytown, yesterday. Delegates were present from several public bodies. Mr. 11. 11. Bunny moved that the Government be again approached with regard to this question, with a view to securing Mr. W. C. Buchanan's offer of £6000 to ostaMish suchia farm. In speaking to the motion, ho stated that the offer was mado by tho donor without political sentiment. He trusted that tho meeting would pass the resolution, and again go to the Government with the offer. This was seconded by Mr. W. Moore, and carried unanimously. On the motion of Mr. Reid it was decided to ask tho Chamber of Commerce and Farmers' Union of Mastcrton to join in tho deputation. The whole of' the delegates will form the. deputation to wait on tho Minister.
