HIGHLANDERS ,\T POLHILL GULLY. On Saturday afternoon the Highlanders met at Polhill Gully to fire off the final for the Ballantyne Shield. The winner was Pte. Eves—the rnnner-np for the company's championship belt, lie was closely followed by Sergt. Jlarsden and Pte. Jl'Lean, who tied with 291 points each. Following are the leading aggregate scores:— Pte. Eves, 1100; Sfrgt. llarsden, 2iH; Pte. H'Lean, 291; Lce.-Corp. Shannon, 255; Sergt. M'llillan, 281; Col.-Sergt. M'Donuld, 253; Corp. Dobson, 2SO.
