DUNEDIN SPORTS CLUB'S MEETING.
(BT TELEfIIUFH— riIESS ASSOCIATION.) Dunedln, March 13. The Dunedin Sports Club mooting took place 011 tlio Caledonian Ground 10-day in dull weather. There was a fair attendance, attracted in the main by the presence of Arnst, the onc-timc cycling champion, now the world's sculling champion, and Trcmbatli, the ex-amateur Australasian champion. Arnst competed in the mile and Otago Wheel Race, but failed to gain a place, being obviously out of condition for cycling. The Sheffield Handicap, 135 yards, was won by White (12 yards) m 13sec., with Sanson (3| yards) second, and Trembath (3J- yards) third. The Otago Wheel Race went to Belcher, who had the liijiit of 350 yards, in 3min. 3sec. Cusack (65 yards) was second, and Dinmo (165 yards) third. Arnst just- failed to qualify in his heat. Calmcrs (8 yards) won the 220 yds. Flat Handicap in 23scc. Trembath and Sanson failed to got up. Foster, off 10 yards, won the half Mile Amateur in 2min. 9 l-ssec. Trembath, in tho Half-Mile Cash, failed to' make any impression on tho limit mail.
