OBITUARY.

JUDGE REEVE OP THE NATIVE LAND COURT. Judge Roscoo Reevo, of tho Native Land Court, died at Taupo early yesterday morning. Deceased, who was appointed judge some eight months ago, had been in ill-health for some time past. The late Judge Reeyo was a stepson of Mr. h. W. Pago,, well-known in Liberal and Labour circles in Auckland. Ho leaves, in addition to ft wife and family, two sisters Mrs. t Sutherland, a .well-known teacher of music in this city, and Mrs. Langley Shaw of Hamilton. Deceased was well-known in legal circles in Auckland. He sorved his articles with Mr. W. Coleman, and was his clerk for many years, leaving Mr. Coleman to practise on his own account. Deceased was in business for about three years when last-year ho was appointed a Judge'of liie Native Land Court.
