Meetings held in many towns illustrate the rivalry between Mohammedans and Hindus. Mohammedans in Lahore (Punjab province) desire no Executivo Council for the Punjab, but in the event of a chango demand a separate' Mohammedan representative. •The- police arrested a Bengali in connection with tho theft of 1601b. of dynamite and a quantity of fuses from tho Hazaribagh (Bengal) province. Seven others were arrested for complicity in. an anarchist conspiracy.
