A mysterious tragedy has occurred at Chinchilla, a small town about 200 miles south-west of Brisbane. Two men named Clements and Saxon started ring-barking rn Monday, after delivering a note to men who had been previously engaged for the work. Last night, while they were sitting in their tent, Clements was shot dead, the bullet passing through his neck and entering Saxon's neck. Saxon's wound is not serious.
