MILITARY TOURNAMENT.
Tho Skating Rink was again crowded last, evening, when tho Military Tournament wad repeated. Tho programme opened with a coon song and cako walk by Miss and Master Chase, and a song contributed by Miss Jones was' ail enjoyablo item. A splendid exhibition of ball-punching by Mr. Hardy and a comic boxing interlude by two of Ins pupils were also well received. Miss Rosio Loftus. a'charming serio-comic, sang "Mignonette,' and; in response to an encore, gave "Barney O'Hooligan." Marshall and Waller danced the Irish jig very nicely.' One of tho best pulls in the tug-of-war. since tho began was tho pull between tho Wellington Guards'and Navals. In the first pull tho .issue was in doubt right up to time, when Mr. Doyle awarded tlio decision to tho Guards. When the teams lined up for tho second pull, they were both cheered ito tho echo. After a strenuous pull the decision was again awarded to tho Tlio camp fire scene was repeated with tho usual succcss. Spargo's team have issued a challenge to pull a team of all-comers. This the' Bazaar Committee accepted 011 the condition that the tournament was not interfered 'with, and Spargo's.team agreed to this condition. ;
