PROPOSAL TOJIAX AMERICAN TRUST. (in TEi.EGiurii—ruEss association—cor Y rig nr.) London, March 8. In the House of Commons Mr. Lloyd-George (Chancellor of the Exchequer) replying to Mr. W. Field, Nationalist member for St. Patrick's Division of Dublin, stated that the Government was considering tho possibility of making the American Beef Trust pay ir.como tax on -tho' profits arising from its transactions in Great Britain.
