GOOD RAPE ON HEAVY LAND.

I think the best rape I have seen this season (writes our travelling correspondent) was on Mr. J. C. Kelly's farm at Tokomaru. Some folk say you cannot grow rape 011 heavy land, but this paddock allowed the contrary, It was chiefly the result of good tillage; tho land had been very well worked. On tho other band, I saw some i;apo paddocks in the same district, 011 very similar land, which wero practically failures.
