HIGHLANDERS AT POLHILL GULLY. Oe Saturday afternoon members of the Highlanders assembled at Polhill Gully to lire •the final shoot for the stag's head presented by Mr. W. M Kenzie Forbes, of Wanganui. Scores also counted for the Ballantyno shield and trophies presented by the Wellington Pipe Band and Lieutenant Willis. The honour of winning tfys head fell to Private Thompson, the company s colt ot this season, who has only latelv been promoted from the B Class ranks.
