The twenty-eighth annual meeting of the Manawatu Itnilway Co. will bo hold oil March 18, when a winding-up resolution will be dealt with. The Wellington Chora] Society practices will be resumed in St. John's Schoolroom, Dixon Street, this evening, at 8 o'clock. Those desirous of joining the society are asked to attend at 7.30 p.m. Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., advertise their entries at tho Shannon stock sale on Friday. At three o'clock this afternoon the Wellington Gas Co., Ltd., will give a gas cooking demonstration in the Weslevan Mission Room, Aro Street. Ladies are cordially invited to bo present.
