Hollings, the worldrenowned wool expert, on a sample fleece from Mr. Ernest Short's celebrated Parorangi and Balmoral Romney flocks mil be of more than passing interest to New Zealand pastorahsts — '' Bradford, England,. Romney Ifleece. i Herewith please find my report on Romney Marsh ram fleece bred, by Mr. Ernest Short, of Parorangi, Feildmg, Zealand. > This is a tremendous fleece of good, sound, useful 1 wool. The quality is known, in the trade as bulk 46's. It is well grown, capital length, will 1 scour an excellent colour, and dje any shade perfectly. ' It will produce a very desirable top, spin well, and answer all manufacturing purposes From this fleetje one cannot hut be satisfied that the owner'is breeding on right lines, for such wool is always in demand for Home, Continental, and American requirements (Signed) t S B. HOLLINGS. From the above'it will bo seen that' Mr. Short's clip is as near perfection as human skill pan produce. Tho wool reported upon was dipped Patent Ponder Dip, and the perfection of the sample conclusively proves the excellence v 'of this famous sheepdipping preparation. 5305
