In the match for the championship -of Hawkos Bay, George Dawson (list. iOlK) I defeated J. Bourke (list. 31b.). . In the" match for the Hawko's Bay foatliorweight ohampionship, Fi James and Iko Kutner mot, and at tho end of tho third round : th <L, referee declared Kuteor the winner. There was also a match between Tim Tracoy;(9sti 811) i), of Wellington, "and Bert. Murphy (9st. 731b.), of Hastings, for a .purso of £60. At the end of.the fourteenth round tho_ referee announced that Murphy (lid not w ls h to. fight any lpriger, therefore lraoov was declared winner. Murphy' said he had been. unwoll for tho last two days, but acknowledged his defeat. , .'•'■■' •..■•■■
