WEED KILLER.
THE POVERTY BAY SPECIFIC. The report that the Government would paj £15,000 to Mr. Thomas Long, of Hatokimatoki for the secret of his weed-killer, subject to satisfactory test, is denied. Mr. J. D Ritchio, Secretary for Agricul ture, states that Mr. Long offered his preparation to the Government some time ago at £1000.
