DINGHY RACING.
■Another of, a series of .mid-weekly races, under ■ the auspices,of .the-Thorndon' Dinghy Sailing Club, was sailed-last evening for a trophy presented by Mr. J}. Georgeson. The ■-. following boats started:—E. .-■. Bailey'- Thelma; sor.; G. Moore's Zol, 2min.; - Nathan's. Vera, Srain.; L. Sergeant's Oeo, -fimin.; J. -,S. Swain's Blowfly, 6min ; TScott s.Rona>6min.; :P. Moore's Ajax, Turin' ,A i good-Art; was witnessed,, but ■ the -limit boats.did not get full advantage of their handicaps,' owing to the' light southerly breeze.' Bona,was first boat'round the Coromandol Buoy,, but Blowfly -and Thelma passed everything after rounding the buoy, Blowfly finishing- first, closely followed by ■; Thelma, with Zel a good-.third. The remaining boats finished as foltows:--Yera, .Oeo, Bona, and Ajax. The third of the series of three championship races will be sailed on Saturday next - -■'
