Among tlio now ponies entered, may bo meptioned Aurifera (late Linkless)',; ;iyho defeated Lord Soult and .'Finely,' in the registered ranks last season, Maori Girl (late Kikoia), who won a race at the rceent Waikanae fixture, and also a full-brother to the hurdler Evenlode. With such ponies competing against the recent winners at Miramar, good sport may be looked for.
