The motion was seconded by the Rev. H. L. Snow and carried. The debate on "llicosopliy was continued. Sir. Washer moved as an amendment, "That the synod, in view of the spread of tlicosophic tenets, call the attention nf Churchmen to the fact that such tenets are opposed to the creeds am! '-innmilaries nf the Church." This was branded. but tin discussion was soon closed l\v a motion to proceed with the next business.
