' NORTH ISLAND ENTRIES. It is expected (says, a CJiristchurch Press Association telegram) that the space applied for by agricultural implement makers at the Canterbury A. and P. Association's metropolitan show on November 11, 12, and 13 will t-otal close upon 70,000 square feet. The Department of Agriculture has made thirty entries of North Island sheep, representing about forty sheep. The breeds entered are English Leioesters, Southdowns, and Rylands, and they are coming from the Department's experiment farm at Ruakura, Waikato. Fifteen entries have also been received from a North Island breeder, representing about twenty sheep. These North Island en-tries-will impart considerable additional interest- to the competitions in tlio sheep classes.' 1 '
