To raise funds for this tho ladies of the parish are holding a bazaar in tho schoolroom. It began yesterday, afternoon, and is to continue this evening.: So many workers aro helping that tho Btalls have been double-banked, and to-day an entirely new lot of stallholders takes charge. The schoolroom lias been nicely decorated with flags, and the stall's havo: each a special- scheme of decoration, the most effec- • tive being the flower stall,_ where quantities of red poppies are used against a white back-

In addition to tho stalls thoro is a gay Christmas tree, and cookery demonstrations are being given by Miss Stewart on a Perfection Oil Cooker, kindly lent by Mr. Winder for tho purpose, the products of her skill being disposed of in the tea-room near by.
