A SATISFACTORY PROFIT. tBT TELEGUAPn.—SPECIAL COItRF.SPONDENT.I ' Marton, September 21. The financial result of tho Marton Jockey Club's raco meeting was very satisfactory. The receipts totalled £2307 19s. 5d., mado up as follow Privileges, £142'1i5.; bookmakers' licenses, £496; nomination and accoptancc fees, £449; gates, £256 10s. 6d.; totalisator, £1018 7s. lid.; lines on accident fees, £5 10s. Tho expenditure amounted to £1393 13s. Id., the chief item being £1140 for stakes. A credit balance of £974 6s. 4d. was thus shown, The work of beautifying tho- grounds has been started, and it is-intended to plant over 2000 orn& mental shrubs.
