PASTORALISTS' FEDERATION.
Mr. Birch stated at a meeting at Palmerston yesterday of the Wellington executive' of the Farmers' Union, that he had attended a meeting of the New Zealand Sheepowners' and Employers' Unions recently held in Canterbury, and he outlined the business done. He stated that it was proposed to hold a conference of. representatives of the Farmers' Union,-and the Pastoralists' Association in Palmerston North,: about show-time, for the purpose of- forming'a New Zealand Pastoralists and Farmers' Federation:
