FISSI LORD'S STATEMENT, A BETTER TONE. SIGNALLING INCIDENT CLOSED. (by TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COrIBIQHT.) London, July 14. In the House of Commons, Mr. M'Kenna, First Lord of the Admiralty, in reply to Lieutenant Bellairs, R.N., Liberal M.P. for King's Lynn, said tho Admiralty considered the incident rolating to Roar-Admiral Sir Percy M. Scott's signal to the captain of the Roxburgh, in November, 1907, was closed. ' , Mr. M'Kenna,. in reply to Mr. Lee. (Conservative member for Fareham division of Hampshire) said it would be the work of the Government to compose any alleged existing, differences in the Navy. These,' he added, appeared to have been more emphasised by the Pross than was in tho least called for, and, so far as tho Admiralty was concerned, wore based on unverified rumour. .
