Owing to tho failuro of tho parties to tho Auckland Tramway disnuto to appoint a chairman of the Special Board of Conciliators, tho Government has appcintod Dr M'Arthur, S.M., of Wellington, to fill the position. The-employers will be represented on tho Board by Mr.-P. M. Hansen and Inspector Morris, and the workers' by Motorman Carter and Conductor Skerrv."
