The first, just before midnight, was the severest of the tremors. On the morning of, May 30 there were two more shocks. A slight earth tremor was felt in Suva also on the morning of May 30. Trent (Commissioner of Crown Lands), paid a visit to Waimarama to-day to inspect the progress of survey work on tho block. It is expected that Waiinarama will bo opened for settlement about the beginning of next rear. ,
