EARTHQUAKES AT FIJI.
(BT TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Auckland, June'l7. Fiji files report that four earthquakes wove felt at Lovuka on the night of May 28. The first, just before midnight, was the severest of the tremors. On the morning of, May 30 there were two more shocks. A slight earth tremor was felt in Suva also on the morning of May 30. WAIiyiARAMA BLOCK. . . 4 (BY TELEGRAM.—SPECIAL CORRESPONDENT.) Napier, June 17. Mr. T. Humphrios (Surveyor-General), accompanied by Mr. 11. Trent (Commissioner of Crown Lands), paid a visit to Waimarama to-day to inspect the progress of survey work on tho block. It is expected that Waiinarama will bo opened for settlement about the beginning of next rear. ,
