MISSIONS TO SEAMEN.
. Thero was a largo audience at the Missions ■to -Seamen Institute last ■ night, when the usual ambulance meeting took place. Mr. James Moorej tho-Missioner,' gave some useful . hints: relating to first-aid- and health matters. During the evening an " Injured Limbs." competition was held, and won by sailors from ships in port. ■ Tho Kia Ora branch of the Girls' Realm Guild provided the ■ musical part of tho programme, which .was highly appreciated. Tho following contributed' items Misses :E. Young, M. Young," .G. Newcnham, and Mr.. Enowlcs.' Tho moinbcrs of the Guild rendered soveral part, songs. Tho performers woro accorded a hearty volo of thanks at tho closo of. tho concert.
