The concert given the sailors in port onMonday .night by. Mrs. • G.. Anderson was. at.'tended by a .crowded audience, who most thoroughly 'enjoyed tho programme. Items .woro'given.by the following:—Mrs. Q. Anderson (who also accompanied), Mrs. Kelly, and Mrs. Reynolds, Misses Geary (dnnces,. song, and recitation), and Bins Anderson, Messrs. M'Comish. (violin' solos), Kerr (comic sketches), Anderson,- Webb (clarionet solos), and H. Graco (H.M.S. Challenger). At the close a hearty vote of thanks wns given tho performers. Tho next concert will bo given by the Messrs. Boyd, Cuthbert, and frand*.
