MISSIONS TO SEAMEN
There was a large audience at the Missions to Seamen's Institute Inst night, when the weekly ambulance meeting took place. Mr. Moore, missioncr, spoke in reference to accidents which have occurred during tho holiday season, also referring to health matters. A competition relating to drowning accidents was won bv sailors from the Avon. A. bright musical programme ■ was arranged by. Miss Anderson, the following contributing items:—Mrs. Iteid, Miss Barns, Messrs. Keid, Durncy, Bryant, Dawton, Duncan, and Riley. Mr. Bryant acted as accompanist. Light refreshments were partaken of, and a hearty vote of thanks to tho performers concluded a most enjoyable meeting.
