Interesting details have como to hand, with reference to tho fighting in Korea betweon tho Japanese garrison and the Korean insurgents. A Seoul despatch states that at dawn on November 12 a Japaneso forcc attacked 500 insurgouts at Hoisan. The latter fled, and' left behind a number of doad and many weapons. On November 14 the insurgents cut tho telegraph wires between Bunsen and Kaifo, on tho Sooul-Wijur railway. This interrupted communication west of Seoul. Workmon sent to repair tho lino were attacked by rebels, and tryops had to bo idespatched to protect them.
