Tho' body of a fourteen-year-old boy named Oswald Barlow was found in tho ocean near' Manly (a marine suburb of Sydney), with a hatpin driven into tho heart. The lad had been. missing for somo days. It was stated that lie had been depressed through tho departure of a brother to Now Zealand a few weeks ago, but the manner of death would indicate, foul play rather than suicido. ' 'A quantity of'linotype metal-and nails was found in tho pockets. (Rcc. Dec. 13, 1.12 a.m.) Sydney, Decembor 12. Tho post-mortem examination disclosed n hatpin in Barlow's heart. Death was duo to drowning.
