INDUSTRIAL ASSOCIATION.
The General Committee of' the Wellington I'lovincinl' Industrial Association met • last night, Mr. F. C. Crease, President, in the chair. There wore ulso present Messrs. A. Ross, E.Bull, A. W. Nowtou, S. S. Williams, C. liCaiter, C. Palliser, and G. Norton. * ; Accounts amounting to ..£2O. ss. were passed for payment, and a net balance of 15s. lid. was reported with nearly all the subscriptions to come in. ... : • Messrs. A. Lindsay, and W. 11. Munro wort elc.cted • members. . . Messrs. D, • Robertson, G. Winder, and A. Ross wcro. appointed a Visiting Committee for the. ensuing month. It was decided •to drop out the Januar) meeting of the Association, on account of the holidays, and to make the Februarymeeting a quarterly meeting. Reports on visits'to Hie Technical.School and thn gas works wore, road, and tho Secretar* was thanked for his work in preparing them A vote of thanks to the chairman concluded tho proceedings.
