• An old resident of Wellington, in the pep. son of Mr. William Humphries, died: at hir » residence in Mulgrave Street yesterday morning The deceased, who was a nephew of the late Mi'. John Plimmer, arrived from England by way of Victoria in 1853. -He is survived by a widow; and family: ot',three—'' Mr George Humphries (of the Press Asso ciation), Mrs.' Marcus Upton,' of Wcllingtoti Tnrrf'cbj-' and Mrs. .Salmon, -of - Mulgrava St ™o'funeral of the late Mr. T. M. Grant, of the Lands and Survey Department, will leavo the residence of his father-in-law, Mr. Matthew Murdoch, at tile 'coriier of Hob'son .Street and Tinakori Road, 10 a.m. to-day, for the Karori Cemetery. •:
