His •Majesty has just bestowed upon tho Grand Duke's wile tho rank of Imperial Highness. Tho Grand Dnchcss is the sccond daughter of tho late Duke of Saxo-Coburg-Gotha and Edinburgh, and was formerly the wifo of the Grand Duko of Hesse-Darmstadt.
