"RIP VAN WINKLE." ■ Mr. Howaril Vornon's Company changed their bill at His Majesty's Inst night, staging tlie principal scenes of Planquette's beautiful ■opera, "Rip Van Winkle." The leading parts wore admirably sustained by Miss-Vinia do Loitte ("Gretchen"),. Miss Iris Vance ("Derrick"), and Mr. Hownrd Vernon (" Rip Van Winklo"), and their songs were particularly meritorious features, of the entertainment. Master Clarrie Thompson as " Hans" and Miss Becky as "Alice" showed-real histrionic taleiit. The verioscope' pictures jwere again run between tho acts, some new Series, heing. added.
