NEW SOUTH WALES LOCAL OPTION.

OBJECTIONS TO REDUCTION VOTE. DY TELEGRAPH—I'IIESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. Sydney, November 30. The brewers' objection to the jurisdiction of the Local Option Court (which was specially established to givo effect to ttio local option vote) raises a third point, which may prove equally fatal with the first two— namely, that although the/ Act provided that in the event of no-license, not being carried, the votcis enst for no-license should be added to -those in favour of reduction, it failed to make clear or state in any way what should be done when this addition was made. Parliament may have intended that tho total for reduction and no-license should be counted against the total for continuance, but the intention was not expressed in tho Act.
